Suicide No.3Many Questions... As 38-Year-Old UNN Lecturer Commits Suicide

A 38-year-old lecturer at the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN), Dr Bede Opata, has committed suicide over the weekend for yet unknown reasons.
The deceased took his life in his own apartment on Saturday but his body was not discovered until Sunday.
Late Opata, who held a Doctorate Degree in Law, was employed by the institution in 2011.
Reports say the late lecturer, the son of a former Commissioner in the old Anambra state, Chief Cletus Opata,  did not show signs of being depressed before his tragic death.
A History Of Suicides
This is not the first time that news of a suicide will emanate from UNN.
A 3rd year Physics and Astronomy student, Onyebuchi Okonkwo, had on Thursday 31st of May 2012 hung himself to death.
In April 2013, a student of the Department of English and Literary Studies of the institution was arrested after attempting to commit suicide following some personal and academic tragedies.
